Ipoh Trip #2

DAY #3

Today is the day we forgot about doing our assignment and have fun! We visited Lost World of Tambun. We arrived there halfday, around almost 11 AM? I think I was the only one who didn't play in the water and go straight to the petting zoo instead xD animals are really cute!

Also met the professional creeper lady at the entrance and in front of the haunted house.

Walked all the way to the back of the theme park and went passed the swan lake and other animals. Goats are so cute

Went to the tin valley at the very back. Learned so much about tin mining in Ipoh back then :)
We went back to the hotel around 5 and the rest of the night is free night! Best day in the trip, in my opinion xD

DAY 4

Last day of Ipoh trip. We checked out of the hotel early and had breakfast at 10 AM. It was my first time eating roti goyang, it actually wasn't that bad!

After that, we went to Plan B at Sekeping Kong Heng. We explored more sides of it! (the under-construction apartment)

^ rooftop pool. It was on top of one of the shoplots.

^insulation works at the corner of the rooms

^ see, the cool thing about the ropes in the steps are, if you trace your fingers through them they will make a really pretty sound of... hmm, music?

^ watching him giving a massage and a haircut for Vijay. Tahsin was posing with him too because he said she looks like his granddaughter

^ went to the other side of the apartment and one thing that I first found very unique was, instead of normal numbers they used '1 o'clock' '2 o'clock' etc.

^some details and designs in 1 o'clock room.

 ^the apartment's rooftop garden
^ The view from the rooftop garden. You could see people's activity on the streets when you peeked from the balcony

After finishing the apartment exploring, we went to Kellie's castle. It was so beautifully designed! With combining elements of victorian english and indian architectural style.

^ one of the air ventilation designs

^ The plan of Kella's House

^ The living room that still left untouched, a part of Kella's House

It even had different designs of openings. How cool was that?

I don't really know what these tiny holes are for. Air circulation and ventilation, I guess?

< stairs ascending to the linen room

^ The linen room

^ The plastering work found in almost all empty rooms :)

^ Ceiling design

^ Railing design of stairs ascending from frist to second level of Kella's House

^ They even gave a decorative element along the hallways with plastering works.

The next stop for day 4 was the tin mining museum. We went there around 3:30 PM and went back at 5:00 PM because they were closing during that time.

After that we went for an early dinner and headed back to UCSI. Arrived at 8:40 pm, I went straight home to get some rest :)
